Happy Friday and the start of Labor Day weekend. Since this is the first weekend we do not have anything going on before our schedules are stacked with football, fall, and friends I plan to try and go through my closet and purge (#WishMeLuck). Do you have any big plans for the three-day weekend?
Today on the blog I wanted to share this dress that I have been obsessed with recently from Loft. It is currently on sale for under $20. Yeah, you read that right. I have been loving this blush color for transitioning in to fall and maxis for all things date night. I am planning a big trip to Florida in a couple of weeks for my birthday and there is a good chance this will be on my packing list for dinner one night.
I also wanted to take this time to share a few ways you can give back this week to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. It has been weighing heavy on my heart to see my sweet home state and family/friends going through such a hard time. At the end of the day, I am so proud to see all that has been given already and want to encourage you to check out some of these amazing organizations who are actively helping the cause.
- One of my favorite groups of people run a site called The Shop Forward and they are currently selling ‘Texas Forever’ t-shirts where the profits are donated directly to The American Red Cross. You can purchase one these shirts here.
- You can also donate directly to The American Red Cross here or you can donate $10 by texting HARVEY to 90999.
- Mercy Chefs is a faith-based organization that serves prepared meals to those in need. You can donate to their cause by clicking the link here.
- Walmart is currently matching every dollar donated by its customers two to one to support The American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
I am so grateful to hear back from all my family and friends in the Houston area who are safe in their homes with little damage or could evacuate in time. My prayers are with all of those affected by this devastation and I will continue to encourage anyone who can to donate and keep those in your thoughts daily.
Thank you so much for stopping by Lifestyle Cassie today, I truly appreciate it.
