Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share an Instagram roundup as well as life lately since I have been slightly busy between work, school, vacation, and life in general. I thought this would be the easiest way to bounce back into the blog life and share everything that has been going on recently in my life.
Do you ever look in your closet and realize you have styles you buy time after time? For me, that is and will always be stripes. I am drawn to them anytime I run into J. Crew or Gap. I also wanted to share these booties because they are currently on major sale for the end of the season and would be a great piece to stock up on for next fall/winter.

Shop the look here. I have worn these shoes on repeat since I bought them. They go with jeans, shorts, and dresses and most importantly are comfortable enough to run errands in all day while stylish for grabbing dinner with the girls after. You can get the classic Adidas in almost any color and I have had an eye on this pair in blush for some time now.
I traveled to Nashville a few weeks ago for a weekend filled with Predators Hockey and country music. Since my parents live a couple of hours from there, they were able to come down and spend the day walking around downtown and stopping for pictures at some of my favorite murals. Three must-haves when you take a trip to Nashville is Biscuit Love for breakfast, Tootsies for some great live music, and the Grand Old Opry.
You can shop my shoes and welcome mat here. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed I have been a little MIA lately. That is because I closed on my house a couple of weeks ago! Between moving in and shopping for the necessities (cough cough wants) it has been the busiest happiest time of my life. I will post pictures once we have completed decorating more rooms and I will also be sharing some great DIY furniture projects soon on the blog.

This year for Spring Break, I went on a cruise to Cozumel and Progreso. I wanted to share a couple of photos from our vacation. I am always curious about where other people travel when they have a week off from school and work and would love to hear about your vacation! Since being back at work for a week now, I am counting down the days until we head to Belize this summer.
Check out my favorite sunglasses here.
The first port we went to was Cozumel, Mexico. We had the chance to walk around and shop a little at the local retail stores as well as stop by this restaurant by the water before we took an excursion snorkeling and went off to a private beach. The restaurant we stopped at had these swings overlooking the water and we had to stop for hundreds of pictures before we left.
Sunset from our ship on a ‘sea day’. I typically enjoy going on cruises for a vacation because they are fun and hassle free. Once you board the ship, all of your meals and shows are planned for you and when you port at different locations, you have the opportunity to buy an excursion for a safe and easy travel day off the ship. I also love being able to get dressed up every night for dinner in the dining room.
The second port we visited was Progeso. We went to this private resort and spent the day eating at a buffet they had set up, playing volleyball, and laying out. I was able to snap this quick picture of the pool with the ocean in the background before putting my phone away and enjoying a day with family.
If you have any questions about our cruise line or specific excursions we took, feel free to reach out to me in the comments below or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, I truly appreciate it. This weekend I am off to Dallas for a volleyball tournament and hitting some of my go-to spots from when I lived in the area.
