Happy Monday. I do not think I sat still for longer than ten minutes this weekend. Friday, we had a birthday dinner at Sassy’s and Saturday we tailgated before catching the Hogs beat Texas State 42-3. Is it normal for a blogger to consistently tell you how well the Hogs did the previous weekend? Yesterday was my 24th birthday and I woke up early to make it to Briar Rose. Briar Rose is a small cottage bakery in Farmington right outside of Fayetteville. If you ever make it to the area, you have to check them out! I recommend the biscuits and gravy or a cinnamon roll. Who am I kidding, I ordered both. After that, a couple of friends and I went to the campus to find my name on Senior Walk. From the start of things, it looks like 24 will be the best year yet!
Onto the outfit- fall is one of my favorite times of the year- hands down. However, in Arkansas, we get to enjoy the weather of summer a little longer than most parts of the country. I wanted to share this last look of the summer season before moving on to dark color palettes, scarves, and tall boots. With the price tag on this shirt, it is the perfect last buy before changing over into transition clothes shopping. You can order this off the shoulder shirt here for $15. Yes, you read that correctly, $15. Off the shoulder is a trend that should always remain in style in my book and the ruffles add a girly touch I could not pass up on.
I paired this OTS shirt with white jeans which you can find by clicking the link here. These jeans are currently on sale and to top it off, Gap is having a 40% off your entire order until midnight tonight. Use the code ‘TREAT’. This is a great time to stock up on jeans, sweaters, and basics. Last but not least, these shoes. Tommy Hilfiger sandals are the quality of a Tory Burch sandal for a percentage of the price. I will be ordering this black pair while they are on sale for next summer.
What are some of your favorite summer staples to stock up on during the end of season sales?
